A few years ago, my high school friends and I got together and decorated store bought stockings. It was fun to be able to bond and hang out, most of whom I have known for more than 15 years. While most people are closer to their college friends, I am blessed to have a group of childhood friends who made the efforts to stay in touch despite many years in the East Coast and Norcal. This year, I sewed stockings for them. While we may not be able to get together for a holiday party this year since everyone is busy, this is for them - happy holidays and thanks for being there!
Recently, I also found out a college friend is expecting next year. Other than having the same wedding date and almost same birthday, our due dates are about 2 weeks apart. Our college roommate joked that with our luck, our babies will arrive on the same day! I can't wait to share the joys of parenthood with her.
