Steamed Dumplings!

We love xiao long bao but cringe as we reach into our wallets to pay $8 for 10 tiny dumplings at Din Tai Fung; since 10 dumplings aren't quite enough for a guy's appetite, we often have to get at least 2 orders. We have to watch spending closely; thus, we attempted to create this Din Tai Fun specialty at home.  While it's true you don't get the entertainment of watching workers pinching away mini folds on the dumplings through a glass window, it's definitely cheaper to have them at home.     holy sheeba! i have to tell H cuz he loves xiao long bao. we should place an order with you.

    i just realized that after i get married and have my own kitchen and stuff i can steal some recipe ideas from you guys!! and we can do meal swaps (or whatever they are called)!! lol ;0)

    In Dallas, xiao long bao usually goes for $1 / bun!
