Triple Protection!

In preparation for next spring's seedlings, we have been trying out various protection devices for our vegetables and fruits from the hungry peacocks. Initially, we attempted natural mechanisms, such as mum flowers and mint plants, since they were supposed to deter the pests, according to the arboretum website. The peacocks either stepped on them or ate them. Then we implemented fences. With only one layer, the peacocks were able to stick their hands and continue to enjoy the leaves and fruits. Finally, my husband put up enough metal fences to keep all the creatures away. It has been almost a week since the last attack...
